My reservation specialist was Zanel Potgieter and she was FANTASTIC! She helped answer every question I asked and there were about 100! As well as gave me a variety of options. Really really satisfied with the service and got a lovely lodge at a great price! Thank you Zanel!

This was our first time using the African Safari group. Estelle made everything so easy- from the initial info regarding our budget, choices of best suited accomodation and quick responses to any enquiries. The links( via email) to the options offered were clear and easy to follow.

African Safari Group (ASG) is understanding of and empathetic to all our clients during this very unprecedented time which has impacted both individuals and companies alike. We have an ethical obligation, not only to our client, but to our suppliers and sales consultants alike to ensure the outcome of the matter is as fair and reasonable as possible to all. The alternatives offered to you on this booking, being postponement or a credit note to the full value of the monies paid, to be used at your convenience, were declined which resulted in cancellation of the booking and our standard terms and conditions coming into effect. You were advised, before cancelling, that a full refund would not be possible due to expenses incurred which could not be recuperated. The refund awaiting processing is 80% of your non-refundable deposit, which you have found unsatisfactory due to your insistence for full refund. In order to refund in full, ASG would need to recoup 100% of the expenses paid out on this booking. This would include the sales consultant, who provided the service of consulting and administering this booking, having to repay their commission, which would be unfair labour practice. Due to the dire impact COVID has had on the Tourism Industry, a media release from CGSO urged consumers to consider alternative offers in place of cancellation and be reasonable considering the circumstances. ASG believes we have acted fairly, reasonably and in conjunction with the recommendations set out by the CGSO as well as within the regulations of SATSA, taking into consideration the impact cancellations have had, not only on our company, but on the Tourism Industry as a whole. The 80% refund offered to you is still available for you to claim and will be processed upon receipt of your banking details, previously requested, that have not as yet been forthcoming.
