Was a nice course for beginner or people with zero Dutch experience but definitely not for good for really learning to speak.

In my opinion, The Language Academy is a good place to start learning a language. However, there are multiple errors in the exercises. Besides that, I think there should be more emphasis in learning vocabulary, maybe adding specific activities to learn the new words.

I am incredibly happy to have found the Language Academy. As a foreign student in the Netherlands, I really wanted to learn the language as I knew I wanted to stay here. But being on a student budget meant that a lot of the online courses I found were too expensive. I also needed to be able to practice in my own time since I had other classes and assignments etc to focus on. I tried out the trial first and after the first day immediately purchased my first course. I am now in the middle of completing my fourth course with the Language Academy and I could not be happier. The content is interesting and relevant (unlike other courses I have seen), it focuses on all aspects from reading, writing, comprehension, listening, grammar to speaking. I also love that you get a certificate upon completion and that process has been superfluid and I could immediately upload it to my LinkedIn. Fantastic! I feel very confident and have noticed A LOT of progression in my Dutch and am hopefully waiting on higher levels to be added (B2.2, C1 and C2). As a student, I also appreciate the frequent sales because it makes the courses more affordable.
